To get the most from your Amigo stable mirror it should be fitted to a firm, flat wooden surface. If your stable is brick or block built we recommend the use of a backboard, this will prevent any distortion of the image and further reduce the chance of an acrylic mirror being broken.

The backboard should ideally be made from an exterior grade plywood at least 12mm thick.

Exterior grade MDF is now available and has proved ideal for use as backboards as it provides a very flat surface over a large area.

We manufacture machined, exterior grade MDF backboards suitable for use with our range of stable mirrors. These are supplied with all necessary fixings.
