To get the most from your Amigo stable mirror it should be fitted to a firm, flat wooden surface. If your stable is brick or block built we recommend the use of a backboard, this will prevent any distortion of the image and further reduce the chance of an acrylic mirror being broken.

The backboard should ideally be made from a flat weatherproof timber.  This will ensure a good reflected image and will absorb some impact.

Exterior grade MDF is now available and has proved ideal for use as backboards as it provides a very flat surface over a large area.

We manufacture machined, exterior grade MDF backboards suitable for use with our range of stable mirrors.

They are supplied with all necessary fittings.
