To get the most from your Amigo stable mirror it should be fitted to a firm, flat wooden surface. If your stable is brick or block built we recommend the use of a backboard, this will prevent any distortion of the image and further reduce the chance of an acrylic mirror being broken.

For our signs and show products we use Foam PVC also known as Foamex, in two thicknesses, 3mm and 5mm. 

Foam PVC is a rigid plastic with a uniform, expanded closed cell structure which gives it an ideal combination of strength and durability, resulting in a lightweight material with a high density surface giving a superb quality finish, ideal for exterior use.  The hard surface provides good adhesion for vinyl application and better wear which is scratch and indent resistant.
